I was listening to The Gospel of John this morning... I was struck again by Jesus' authority and teaching. Being fully God, yet bound to human language, He made every word count... He is perfect truth and grace... all substance, no fluff - see John 5:16-47
The more I read the red print (the words of Jesus) the more I become amazed at how full those words are. Jesus speaks with such authority as well as he speaks to clarify misunderstandings coupled with bewildering those who are "certain" (pharisees and the prideful). No fluff and all substance indeed!
